Books

This month Ecoturismolatino's webmaster recommends two books:

The first one written by Sue Beeton with the title "Ecotourism: A practical guide for rural communities". This is an interesting guide for individuals, communities and/or companies thinking on launching an ecotourism enteprise. It is focused mainly to the Australian and New Zealand context. It is, as its title says, a practical working tool.

The second book is indispensable for all people interested in tourism in natural protected areas. "Tourism in National Parks and Protected Areas: Planning and Management" is written by Paul F.J. Eagles et al. Eagles, as one of the best known international authors in this topic, takes us through the development of the idea of parks and protected areas, and also shares best practices for tourism in national parks and other protected areas.
