Network
of Community Tourism
The Network of Community Tourism is made up of organizations of peasants
and indigenous people who live as corn farmers, coffee producers, weavers,and
artisans. We are proud members of a culture - part of the Mayan civilization
- with a great history and future, and we invite you to learn about
our fiestas, our rituals, our traditional medicine, and the arts we
practice, hoping that you will find meaning in them for yourselves.
We are non-profit,
non-governmental institutions dedicated to improve the quality of life
of our membersa and committed to the fair distribution of the benefits
that tourism can generate. Association of Organic Farmers of Rio Perla and Montes Azules We area group of men and women who live near and in the Lacandon Rain Forest and we would like to show you around the lakes of Ocotal and Suspiro, as well as other spots. You are welcome to camp in sites we can take you to. In addition, we want to tell you about traditional, and our new organic farming. Ocosingo y las Cañadas.
