Quite tired and knowing that a ecotourism project existed in this town I prepared myself to look for the office of tourism to ask there. They gave me indications of how to arrive to Taselotzin in public transportation ($2.50 pesos) from the street Miguel Alvarado - although you can also arrive walking since it is 10 minutes walking from the center. The chauffeur told me where to get off and I followed the clear signs to the Hotel. In the reception I was received by a partner of the organization, she accompanied me to the room 6 that was free and recently cleaned. A good shower in hot water and I was ready to explore Cuetzalan. This ecoturism project that in its daily operation looks to be environmentally friendly, has also the objective of supporting the work of several community projects around Cuetzalan like: a nursery of ornamental plants and a workshop of recycled paper.
